How to use the stopwatch
Press Start to begin measuring time. Use Lap to record a split while the stopwatch keeps running. Pause holds the elapsed time, Resume continues, and Reset clears both elapsed time and laps.
Lap time and total time
Lap time measures the interval since the preceding lap. Total time measures the full running time since Start, excluding pauses. Export laps saves these measurements as a CSV file.
How precise is this stopwatch?
The display shows hundredths of a second, but screen refresh and device timing affect precision. This browser stopwatch is for everyday activities, not certified competition or scientific measurement.
Does it work after a refresh?
State is stored in this browser when storage is available. A refresh restores the running or paused stopwatch. Reset removes its saved measurements. Switching to another device does not transfer the session.
