This counter uses Western Easter in the Gregorian calendar. Orthodox Easter can be on a different date and is not the date used here.
Why does the date change?
Western Easter can fall from March 22 through April 25. The date follows the ecclesiastical Easter calculation rather than a fixed month and day.
